Tanzania takes lead on fight against African poverty

Tanzania's new role as the leading player in the global efforts against African poverty was readily apparent at a recent United Nations meeting in Vancouver, Canada.

The nation's stability and focus on poverty issues is credited with the growing role of the country in leading the global agenda toward fixing Africa's poverty crisis.
