Volcano's lake changes from blue to red

Mount Manaro in Vanuatu has been showing signs of erupting and its lake has changed color from blue to bright red.

Scientists with New Zealand's Geology and Mines Department are puzzled over the change and are conducting tests to see what caused the transformation.

The leading hypthoses now is that something flowing into the lake is causing a chemical reaction, or gas from the volcano is creating the change.

Three other volcanoes in Vanuatu have been acting up in recent weeks.
