Live Earth India concert canceled after Mumbai attacks
Organizers fo the Live Earth India concert have canceled the event following the tragic attacks in Mumbai.
The timing of the attacks appear to have intersected with a number of key events going on in India and abroad at the time including important regional elections in India; the American Thanksgiving holiday; a major international cricket tournament, the most popular sport in India; and the international Live Earth India concert.

We always felt very welcomed and safe as we spent more time on the ground in Mumbai to finalize plans for Live Earth India, scheduled for December 7.Due to circumstances far beyond our control, we are saddened to announce that Live Earth India has been cancelled. We will continue to work for solutions to the climate crisis for the good of the people of India and around the world.
