Canadian suspects accused of parliament attack plot
Some of the suspected terrorists arrested in Canada planned to attack the Canadian parliament and to behead Prime Minister Stephen Harper unless their demands were met, prosecutors said.
The allegations were made in investigation summaries delivered to defense attorneys for the suspects on Tuesday.
According to the reports, some of the suspects planned to storm the Parliament building and hold hostages including the prime minister unless Canada agreed to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and release Muslim prisoners.

Lawyers for the detainees have complained that they are unable to meet with their clients.
"This is not Guantanamo, this is Toronto, Canada," said Gary Batasar, attorney for suspect Steven Vikash Chand.
Canadian officials have indicated that more arrests are likely in connection with this case.
