Nepal royalists to be summoned

Nepal announced it will question royalists over allegations of atrocities committed against pro-democracy demonstrators.

No word though on whether King Gyanendra himself will or can be implicated in any of the wrongdoing.

A judicial commission headed by former Supreme Court Justice Krishna Jung Rayamajh will summon members of the former royal government, largely seen as installed by the king, for questioning next week.

One close advisor to King Gyanendra, Sarad Chandra Shah, was said to have already left the country on Wednesday.
